1 1/2 – 2 (one & a half) – Cups Sugar.
1/4 teaspoon – Baking Soda (this IS the SECRET Ingredient!!)

Directions -
1.  Sprinkle baking soda into a pitcher (I use a gallon-size Mason Jar but many people have voiced concerns about pouring boiling water into a glass container, so use whatever container you’d like)

Pour Boiling water over tea bags,
Cover and allow to steep for 15 minutes.

My dinner tonight

My dinner tonight

Well remembering that I own a juicer and that I do not get enough veggies and fruits, I thought what the hell.  I will get it down and clean off the 6 years of kitchen dust and what ever else that took up residence on my poor neglected kitchen gem.  I remember the huge one that was in my grandmothers kitchen in Germany.  I also remember I loved the fresh carrot juice she made for breakfast.  So after hosing off the layers of abandonment, I ran some carrots and an apple, with a hand full of spinach through ole trusty yesterday and lo and behold I had fresh juice.  This morning I repeated the tasty goodness and had my normal protein shake and drove to work.  I felt oddly good today…  hum, coincidence? I wasn’t even hungry at lunch time.  I do know better than to skip lunch tho…  if I do by the time I get home I am so hungry that nothing is safe in my kitchen…  I will eat what ever holds still long enough.  So I settled for some soup and an apple.   I came home and WOW, still not ravenous.  I had stopped by costco and bought apples and carrots and a few other things to stuff in my long forgotten juicer, so I decided on a liquid dinner.  It is almost bed time and I think this might work…  *Fingers Crossed*
